PRESS RELEASE
Band: Frankie Wants Out
Event: EP Launch/Tour
Release: Trouble (six track EP)
Melbourne rockin’ swing band, Frankie Wants Out is pleased to announce the release of their new EP, TROUBLE. Trouble features six new tracks, including the single Cigarette Case and their new single, Trouble.
After the success of Cigarette Case, FWO decided to return to Birdland Studios to work with the amazing producer Lindsay Gravina (The Living End, Thirsty Merc, Kram, Faker, The Redcoats, Stonefields etc…). The result? Five amazing new tracks that not only capture FWO’s live energy, they also have a much rockier edge compared to their previous releases.
The tracks are heavier, louder and much more produced than your average swing record and according to the boys at Frankie Wants Out, this is their proudest EP yet.
Trouble features many different of styles, including; Shuffle, Boogaloo, Surf, Rock and Pop, while still paying homage to their humble beginnings in the swing world.

Frankie Wants Out are proud to announce their up coming tour to Sydney and Canberra over the Queens’ Birthday Long Weekend in June 2011.
It’s been a while since Frankie has been able to get back to Sydney and Canberra due to a busy last few years, writing new material, completing other mini tours, supporting US swing legends Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, and of course the release of their latest single “Cigarrette Case”.
The “Don’t Tell The Missus Tour” will see them play shows at:
The Macquarie Hotel in Sydney on Friday the 10th of June and at
Transit Bar in Canberra on Sunday the 12th of June.
Each of the above shows will feature Frankie Wants Out playing 3 pumping sets of their unique brand of original hot party swing, latin and motown. Combining brand new tunes, some recognisable crowd favourites and even some oldies that have been re-vamped and spruced up, both shows promise to be a blast.
Frankie Wants Out is also pleased to announce that they have added a Melbourne show to the mini-tour and will be playing the following weekend at Red Bennies, in Melbourne
